Gerard Maher commences working for Supreme Office Supplies
Andor Systems was established with a goal to provide microprocessor design. Located in a small suburban garage in Newcastle, Andor's two employees worked hard to lay the foundations of the business.
Nashua sold their direct sales operations and Steve Cullen purchased the rights to be the Nashuatec dealer in Newcastle, Hunter Region, and the Central Coast.
Andor branched into providing PC sales and service to retail and small business. Andor Systems also moved to its New Lambton office.
The Nashua brand integrated into the Ricoh Corporation with the Newcastle region dealership (Supreme Office Supplies) being purchased by Phil Pailthorp and rebranded as Ricoh Business Centre.
Gerard Maher purchases Ricoh Business Centre from Phil Pailthorp and expands to a Singleton office to serve the Hunter.
Andor had become a highly specialised network and PC support team with significant technical accreditations including those from Cisco and Microsoft.
Ricoh Business Centre purchases Brian Cox Electronic Services in Tamworth. Brian had been servicing the Tamworth region for almost 20 years, supplying office products such as copiers and printers as well as cash registers. Brian’s son Luca still works for Pivotal Business Systems as the lead technician in Tamworth.
Ricoh Business Centre expands again with the purchase of Hastings Office Equipment, which had served the Port Macquarie region for over 20 years. Alan Witchard is still with the business having started with Hastings Office Equipment over 30 years ago.
Ricoh Business Centre becomes Pivotal Business Systems to incorporate an expansion into Business Process Optimisation, Managed Print Services and Point-Of-Sales services.
Pivotal Business Systems purchases Andor Systems. Andor has serviced the region for over 30 years, delivering excellent levels of support in the Managed IT space.
With the expansion of our POS
offerings, the brand Tylle was
established.
The company entered a new era as Pivotal Andor with both businesses now operating under the one roof, marking the retirement of long-time Andor leaders John and Sharon.
